Since I have the privilege of working with and getting to know your child for the next year, please let introduce myself. My name is Christina Brannon and this is my third year teaching at Evoline C. West Elementary. I grew up in a small town in West Tennessee called Alamo where I met my husband, Blake. I am a graduate of the University of Tennessee with a B.S. in K-8 Education and am currently working on my M.S. in Technology in Education through Lesley University. I enjoy learning about educational technology and using it in my classroom. I have had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Georgia Educational Technology Conference the past three years and have presented at the conference for the past two years. My husband is a graduate of Georgia Tech, which is the reason I made Atlanta my home. My hobbies include spending time with family and friends, cheering on Georgia Tech, traveling, water skiing, snow skiing, and my computer!

I truly have a passion for teaching and find my job rewarding when I see the faces of my students light up with motivation and excitement for learning. This year is going to be full of exciting new adventures for both myself and your child. Your child will be gathering the skills and knowledge that are the building blocks for the rest of their education. It is my goal to be creative to meet the needs of all my students, but also challenging to stretch their minds.
I am a firm believer in parent involvement and communication. Please feel free to contact me with any concerns, questions, or just to provide feedback. I believe that it is key to have a strong communication relationship with the parents of my students, because we are the advocates for your child's learning.
