All About Homework
Homework is given to your child each Monday and should be returned to school on Friday. Homework will focus on skills from the following subjects: Reading, Language Arts, Math, and Science or Social Studies. It is important that your child attempt to complete each homework assignment. Homework is an extension of each day's lessons and will help supplement your child's learning. In addition, it important that your child spend at lest 15 minutes reading each night along with studying their spelling, vocabulary, and sight words. Homework will be spent home in your child's blue homework folder. Please return the blue folder to school each day as there may be additional information that needs to be sent home in the folder. Thank you for your cooperation in helping your child with their homework. This will help him/her be more successful in first grade!
